lyrics
Past midnight
Walking on my own
When a light
Turned on this town
Rousing music
Warm and loud
I lost myself
Into the crowd
Burning heavy
Atmosphere
Dancing lust
In sweaty shirts
Exuding voice
In the air
Needed to get
Close to the stage
Threaded my way
Between raging bodies
To see this girl
Full of mysteries
She was playing
Some rock and roll
Staring at me
And I lot control
"ts cold, she said, let's go home".
We were sit on the sidewalk soo I closed my eyes and I was in her room.
Just like that
It was a big large empty room. There was nothing. No light, no books piled on a shelf, no cracking record on a turntable, only two armchairs and a fireplace.
And her.
And me.
The fire was enlighting up her face but not warming anything. It was cold, so cold. Her eyes sinked into mine, deper and deeper. I felt that she knew everything about me, but she was still a mystery.
"Light the fire, she said"
I looked to the fire so big. Flames were out the fireplace, coming closer and closer to us. She laughed.
"Not this one, she said".
